I have been working with an international company, IRIS, which specializes in R&D as well as sustainable energies engineering.  My role with IRIS is to work with their Techee to design and program an application for the iPad.  The application was designed for internal use of the company.  I was very excited to hear about the work I would be doing in Barcelona, because it is strongly related to my major and the work I would like to achieve after graduation.  My office is in one of their locations, located in Castedellefels.  It takes quite a while to get there by foot and train, about 2 hours.  There are people from all over Europe and the world that work in my location, and they all speak english thankfully.  It has been nice to converse with people from all over world, to hear about their culture and where they are from.  The work I have done has been very difficult thus far, I do not have a strong background in computer programming yet, but I have accepted the challenge at will.  I know that with practice I will eventually learn how to code.  Overall, the internship I had with IRIS was so beneficial for me and I know that I will take the knowledge I have learned here with me forever.
