The difference between the mortgage situation in 1933 and 2008 makes them incomparable. The pool of borowers are so different that any comparison has to be flawed. 110% of assessed value loans with no down payment and little credit worthiness of the borrowers assured a housing market collapse. All of us involved even to a small degree, could see for at heast 5 years prior to 2008 what was enevitable. I can’t believe that the experts didn’t know what was coming. That should be the subject of a study.

It seems to me that putting together the project was a learning experience that I can definitely use in the future. We were able to choose our own groups, which made the project a fun experience rather than a frustrating one. While coming up with environmental fun facts for our Facebook and Twitter pages, I learned a lot about sustainability as a whole. For instance, I learned that recycling one aluminum can saves enough electricity to power a television for three hours! Learning about simple ways to change my behavior made me realize how much one person can make a difference in the effort to save our world.

I found this when I was doing a search for a new friend I met in Whistler BC that was from Portland named Mike Lyons. This looks similar to him but I’m not 100% because everyone looks different with a wind burnt face.
